IONOS in Alcobendas (Madrid area) seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer to own and operate our cloud Big Data platform. You will work across internal data teams, ensuring stability, scalability, and end-to-end platform health.

You will lead with autonomy in a hybrid model, collaborating with 11 divisions while driving platform improvements and moving toward Product Ownership of the platform.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years in Operations, System Administration, or infra DevOps roles.
• Strong Linux systems administration and recovery experience.
• Hands-on with ArgoCD and Terraform for IaC and deployments.
• Extensive Kubernetes knowledge and containerization expertise.
• Experience with Trino, Hive, Airflow, OpenShift, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Solid networking fundamentals.
• High autonomy with collaborative mindset.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Platform Operations & Ownership: shape, deploy, and maintain cloud Big Data platform infrastructure.
• Provide L2/L3 application support for internal data engineering teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders across 11 divisions to implement platform services.
• Collaborate in 2-week sprints to align team goals and progress.
• Continuously improve operational processes and platform optimizations.
• Progress system evolution toward Product Ownership of the platform.
