Job summary

Technosylva, Inc. seeks a Cloud Architect to lead the IT Infrastructure team, guiding cloud evolution and governance across AWS and Azure.

You will drive standardization, cross-functional collaboration, and cost-aware cloud operations for Technosylva and KatRisk, balancing long-term design with post-M&A integration realities. You will provide technical leadership to KatRisk engineering and modeling teams, enabling secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions while advancing runbooks,

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in cloud infrastructure engineering with 4–5 years in architect or reference roles.
• FinOps experience: tagging, cost visibility, optimization and showback models across engineering teams.
• Hands-on AWS and Azure with production-grade design and operation of workloads and managed services.

Responsibilities

• Standardize and govern cloud architecture for AWS and Azure environments.
• Drive a company-wide FinOps strategy with tagging, cost visibility and attribution.
• Ensure security and compliance controls (ISO 27001, SOC2) are embedded by design.
• Lead consolidation of legacy cloud environments inherited from M&A activity within KatRisk.
• Provide architectural support to KatRisk teams for new solutions and evolving platforms.
• Develop runbooks, automation, and disaster recovery strategies to enable 24/7 operations.
• Document architectural decisions, patterns, and guides for consuming teams.
• Promote Infrastructure as Code using Terraform modules and Ansible playbooks.
