Precision for Medicine is seeking a Senior Clinical Research Associate in Spain to support a strategic sponsor in a fully home-based role. You will work within a quality-focused, collaborative environment and help ensure studies are conducted per protocol, ICH-GCP, and SOPs.

You will monitor site performance, identify risks, train junior staff, and liaise with clients. Candidates should have 5+ years of CRA/SCRA experience in CRO/pharma, a CRA certificate, and fluency in Spanish and English.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of CRA/SCRA experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device environment.
• Extensive experience in IVD, oncology, infectious diseases and gastrointestinal studies.
• Proven experience monitoring studies across multiple European countries.
• Availability for domestic travel up to 50-60% (international travel may be required for some senior positions).
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and own the progress of clinical studies at investigative sites and ensure trials are conducted, recorded, and reported per protocol, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate activities required to set up and monitor a study (identify investigators, regulatory submissions, pre-study visits, etc.).
• Train and mentor junior staff; interact with clients; initiate payments; participate in proposals and client presentations.

How we will keep you busy and support your growth:

You will monitor and own the progress of clinical studies at investigative sites and ensure that clinical studies are conducted, recorded, and reported per protocol, SOPs, ICH-GCP, and all applicable regulations and standards. You will coordinate all necessary activities required to set up and monitor a study (i.e., identify investigators; helping prepare regulatory submissions, conducting pre-study and initiation visits, etc.).

Senior CRAs handle appropriately sized clinical trials, and support clinical study teams with trials that are larger in scope. You will also have the opportunity to train and mentor junior staff members. You will interact directly with clients, initiate payments, and participate in proposal activities, including development and client presentations.

Qualifications:

• 4-year college degree or equivalent experience
• Holder of CRA certificate

Other Required

• Minimum 5 years of CRA/SCRA experience within a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device environment
• Extensive experience in IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics), oncology, infectious diseases and gastrointestinal studies.
• Proven experience monitoring studies across multiple European countries, ideally including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Denmark.
• Availability for domestic travel including overnight stays, which may constitute up to approximately 50-60% travel commitment (international travel may be required for some senior level positions)
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required
• Additional language(s) will be considered an asset

Preferred

• Graduate or postgraduate degree with a concentration in a scientific or healthcare discipline
• Study start up activities experience
• For Senior CRAs, understanding of financial management
