Qualifications

• Mastery of all aspects of the C/C++ programming language.
• Proof experience of more than 6 years in a similar position.
• Advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics preferred.
• Strong algorithm engineering skills.
• Working knowledge of Python.
• Solid STL usage.
• Object-oriented programming expertise.
• Attention to software craftsmanship.
• Cross-platform development with CMake, Git and Jira.
• Experience with threading and IPC.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Elaboration of user stories including initial estimation and acceptance criteria.
• Development of new features and refinement of acceptance criteria.
• Sharing progress and impediments in daily stand-up meetings and addressing them with teammates.
• Participation in team ceremonies: review/demo, retrospective, planning.
• Contributing to development infrastructure, build, testing, CI, etc.
• Participating in architecture discussions and revisiting past choices.
• Contributing to documentation (Doxygen, Sphinx).

• Elaboration of user stories (including initial estimation & acceptance criteria).
• Development of new features per se (refining acceptance criteria)
• Sharing progress and impediments (daily stand-up meeting) and addressing them with your teammates
• Participating to team ceremonies (review/demo, retrospective, planning)
• Taking part in the development infrastructure (build, testing, continuous integration, etc.)
• Taking part in the architecture (e.g. quick design sessions, reconsidering past choices...)
• Contributing to the documentation (Doxygen, Sphinx)

Your profile

• Mastery of all aspects of the C/C++ programming language.
• Proof experience of more than 6 years in a similar position.
• We would like you to have most of an advanced degree (PhD or MSc) in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics.
• A strong level in algorithm engineering
• A good working knowledge of the Python programming language
• An effective practice of the Standard Template Library (STL)
• A SOLID practice of object-oriented programming
• A paid attention to software craftsmanship
• Comfort in developing cross-platform development using CMake, Git and Jira
• Comfort with threading and IPC
• Excellent English communication skills, verbally and written.
