Utimaco in Madrid is seeking an experienced Test Automation Engineer to define, implement and maintain automated test workflows for backend systems. You will perform security-focused testing, analyze defects with developers, and document results while contributing to CI pipelines and quality improvements.

Hybrid work model with flexible hours and a diverse international team. English proficiency required; knowledge of Linux/Windows and scripting languages is essential.

Formación

• Degree in technical discipline with several years of detailed and proven experience in test automation.
• Confident dealing with scripting languages and test-automation frameworks.
• Experience with automated testing tools and version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows environments.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Define, develop, and execute test cases based on product requirements and specifications.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test workflows using Jenkins and CI pipelines.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
• Document test results, quality observations, and improvement recommendations for the product.
• Create, track, and manage bug tickets using issue tracking tools such as Jira.
• Conduct security testing using static analysis and dependency scanning tools.

• Experience with performance and load testing tools.
• Ability to analyze and validate code coverage using tools.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
