AECOM Madrid is seeking a Senior Engineer with bridges and structures design experience to join Enterprise Capabilities, Europe (Madrid). You will work with a multinational team, lead design activities across offices, and mentor junior staff to deliver complex bridge projects.

The role requires a Master in Civil Engineering, at least 5 years in international teams, and proficiency with major engineering software. Fluency in English is essential for collaboration across regions.

Formación

• Master degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University.
• Proven track record of working on bridges and/or structures designs with some experience working with international and multi-cultural teams (+5 years)
• Experience with international standards (e.g. AASHTO; AREMA, Australian Codes; British Standards, etc.)
• Proficiency in engineering software for bridge and structures (preferable Midas Civil, but others as CSiBridge, SAP2000, etc. are well considered)
• Experience working in the North America / ANZ region will be considered favorably
• Ability to solve complex issues with limited direction on the bridges and/or structures field
• Fluent in English (oral and written)

Responsabilidades

• Works as part of a bridges and structures team with other designers at the same functional level that can be from different EC offices (Poland, Spain, India...). Undertakes non-routine, medium complex projects supported by EC
• Coordinates and leads small design teams focused on structural design for a specific project
• Works autonomously within established procedures with latitude to determine work priorities
• Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings, including participation in interdisciplinary reviews
• Ensures that project technical goals/milestones/ budgets are met
• Prepares complex project deliverables using a team of junior technical and support staff, providing supervision to and mentoring less experienced staff.
