J.P. Morgan Personal Investing is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our engineering squads building a top-in-market mobile and web platform.

You will work with Java/Spring Boot, Kotlin, AWS, and microservices on Kubernetes, delivering high-quality software in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will own features end-to-end, contribute to architecture evolution, implement tests, and participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing sessions with a global team, including London.

Formación

• Product engineer mindset delivering high-quality software
• Experience with JVM languages (Java/Scala/Kotlin) and Springboot
• Experience designing systems from scratch and evolving architectures (serverless and cloud)
• Hands-on event-driven design with Kafka
• Monitoring/alerting for production environments
• REST APIs and API integration
• Experience with Git flow
• Strong communication within a delivery team
• Familiarity with enterprise AI-assisted development tools
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows

Responsabilidades

• Work with Product to understand user needs and deliver features in an Agile SDLC
• Contribute to architecture evolution and microservices on Kubernetes with Kafka
• Take ownership from estimation to release and post-production
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve defects
• Write tests and uphold coding standards
• Assist with releases and continuous deployment
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Contribute to technical initiatives and improvements
• Focus on solving core problems, not just symptoms
• Leverage AI coding assist tools within governance and peer review frameworks
• Apply SDLC tools and automation to improve value
