Dow Jones is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in Barcelona to design, build, and operate reliable, scalable backend services and APIs. You will lead complex features, optimize performance, and work with product, QA, and data teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

You will contribute to architecture decisions, mentor junior engineers, and improve observability and reliability across critical services, while aligning work with business goals in a global media technology environment.

Formación

• 4-6+ years of professional software engineering experience in backend or platform environments.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and Python for production-grade backend systems and APIs.
• Deep experience with AWS services, Linux environments, CI/CD pipelines, and microservices architecture.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., Redis) and data platforms/pipelines (Snowflake).
• Strong communication skills and ability to align technical work with business goals.
