Remote People is hiring a Software Engineer to join one of our Engineering squads and build software solutions that support rapid company growth.

You will develop fast, secure APIs for frontend and backend consumption, build integrations with third party software, and collaborate in a cross-functional squad with FE, BE, QA, Product, and Design. English proficiency is required in a remote-friendly, globally distributed team.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years in a Software Development role.
• Strong coding skills with Python and a framework (preferably FastAPI).
• Experience implementing micro-services.
• Knowledge of REST, gRPC, GraphQL and API documentation with OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Good command of SQL.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.

Overview

We're seeking a Software Engineer to join one of our Engineering squads and build software solutions that support the company rapid growth. If you thrive in a team-oriented setting and are passionate about delivering high-quality code, we invite you to explore the opportunity below.

Responsibilities

• Develop fast, secured and easy to use APIs to be consumed by both front-end and back-end applications
• Build effective integrations with other applications and third party software
• Work in a cross-functional squad (along with FE, BE, QA Engineers, Product Manager and Designer)

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years in a Software Development role
• Strong coding skills, good command of Python and one of its framework, preferably fastapi
• Experience implementing micro-services
• Knowledge in various API design such as REST, gPRC, GraphQL and API documentation with OpenAPI, Swagger
• Good command of SQL
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English

Preferred Skills

• Experience working on custom built Product, preferably a SaaS platform
• Knowledge or experience with Online Payment, Payroll or Invoicing domains is a plus
• Some experience in Java and Spring Boot is a plus
• Aware Security and Application Performance constraints
• Demonstrate curiosity and always on the lookout for improvements
• Set high standards for yourself
