Job summary

Roche is seeking a Developer Advocate to empower engineers and non-technical creators within the E3 platform ecosystem. You will bridge global developer communities and Roche platform squads, prototype integrations, and champion secure, scalable software delivery.

You will mentor internal engineers, contribute to platform product vision, and help improve documentation, API usability, and the end-to-end developer experience across Roche business units.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of full-stack software development, DevOps, or Platform Engineering experience.
• Strong comfort with writing code and analyzing architecture pipelines.
• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in CS, engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prototype technical integrations and templates between core E3 platforms and diverse pipelines.
• Support engineering community through hands-on troubleshooting, architecture reviews, and pairing sessions.
• Build presentations, demos, technical blogs, and sample solutions showcasing E3 capabilities.
• Engage internal Roche engineering community through inner-sourcing initiatives, tech talks, and hackathons.
• Represent internal engineer needs by giving feedback on bugs, feature requests, and documenting workflow friction.
