Job summary

EPAM Systems in Spain is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to design, implement and optimize AWS infrastructure, automate delivery pipelines, and enable seamless deployments of business-critical applications across global markets in a remote working mode.

You will collaborate with development teams to ensure secure, scalable cloud environments, promote Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD best practices, and drive large-scale transformation within AWS ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing AWS-based production environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, VPC, IAM.
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration in AWS.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins or CodePipeline.
• English proficiency (B2 or above).

We're looking for a Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team in Spain in a remote working mode. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure, automating delivery pipelines and enabling seamless deployments of business-critical applications across global markets. You will collaborate with development teams to ensure secure, scalable and high-performing cloud environments, while promoting Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and CI/CD best practices.

• Automate recurring operational tasks using scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Shell

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing AWS-based production environments
• Strong practical knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS, EKS, VPC, IAM
• Expertise in AWS networking components: VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect, Load Balancer, API Gateway, Security Groups
• Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and container orchestration in AWS
• Proficiency with monitoring solutions like CloudWatch, DataDog or Prometheus
• Skilled in Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure-as-Code automation
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline
• Understanding of cloud cost management and optimization strategies
• Knowledge of security compliance standards, access control and encryption
• Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash or Shell for automating operations
• Excellent communication skills and collaboration experience with cross-functional teams
• English proficiency (B2 or above)

Nice to have

• Development skills in Python or Go
• Familiarity with native AI cloud services (AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, Azure AI)
• Experience in designing and running AI agent frameworks and next-gen coding agents (Claude Code, OpenCode, Cursor, Trae, Antigravity)
