Airbus Defence and Space Getafe is seeking a Senior Armament Systems & Weapon Integration Engineer to lead end-to-end development and integration of armament systems onto aerial platforms. You will define architectures, manage interfaces, prepare ICDs, and drive safety and airworthiness documentation.

We require 5+ years in Aircraft Systems Integration, strong English and Spanish, and experience with DOORS, Matlab/Simulink, and C++.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering.
• 5+ years as an Engineer in Aircraft Systems Integration.
• Strong adaptability to work on new topics and in a networking mode.
• Advanced English and Spanish (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of armament systems and stores integration is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the full product lifecycle from concept to retirement, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Perform trade-off analyses, validate architectures, and lead performance analyses.
• Define architectures for Armament Control, Stores Management, and Weapon Bay/Carriage systems with suppliers.
• Define interfaces and requirements across system levels and conduct impact analysis.
• Lead technical integration of weapons and stores, developing ICDs and assessing architectures.
• Prepare technical and safety documentation for armament systems.
• Develop system test benches and define ground and flight test requirements.
• Ensure airworthiness through qualification reports and certification documents.
• Serve as primary technical contact for suppliers and mentor junior engineers.
