Michael Page is representing a solid multinational in Madrid seeking a senior AR and Treasury specialist for a 12-month interim assignment. You will lead accounts receivable, monitor collections, and coordinate with credit insurers, while supporting treasury activities and month-end processes.

This hands-on role requires independence and a proven ability to improve controls and cash collection, with close interaction with Sales and Operations to manage risk and liquidity.

Formación

• Senior, hands-on role with independence and commitment.
• Experience in AR, credit control, and cash management.
• AR software and ERP familiarity would be advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Accounts receivable management and collections follow-up.
• Credit control, customer exposure monitoring, and overdue management.
• Coordinate with credit insurance companies (Atradius or similar).
• Treasury management, daily cash position monitoring, and payment planning.
• Management of factoring and confirming facilities, including banking coordination.
• Preparation of weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts and liquidity planning.
• Preparation of financial, treasury and AR reporting.
• Development and maintenance of Finance dashboard / KPI reporting (DSO, aging, overdue balances, cash forecast, etc.).
• Intercompany balances reconciliation and follow-up.
• Support in month-end closing and audit requirements related to AR and Treasury.
• Support in internal and external audit requests.
• Continuous improvement of controls and finance processes.
• Close interaction with Sales and Operations teams to ensure proper risk management and cash collection.

Educación

8-10 years experience leading an AR Department

Our client is an outstanding multinational operating in the FMCG, technology and consumer electronics industry, located in Madrid.

Key responsibilities

• Accounts receivable management and collections follow-up.
• Credit control, customer exposure monitoring, and overdue management.
• Coordination with credit insurance companies (Atradius or similar).
• Treasury management, daily cash position monitoring, and payment planning.
• Management and follow-up of factoring and confirming facilities, including coordination with banking partners.
• Preparation of weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts and liquidity planning.
• Preparation of financial, treasury and AR reporting.
• Development and maintenance of the Finance dashboard / KPI reporting (DSO, aging, overdue balances, collections, customer exposure, cash forecast, etc.).
• Intercompany balances reconciliation and follow-up.
• Support in month-end closing and audit requirements related to AR and Treasury.
• Support in internal and external audit requests.

For a solid, senior, and hands-on role willing to assume operations in the AR area with Independence and commitment, we are offering:

• Fixed salary: around €45K gross annual salary
