Job summary

IE University seeks an Accounts Receivable Senior Associate to join the Administration & Accounting team in Madrid (IE Tower). You will own student billing and collections, ensuring accurate balances and timely close in coordination with Admissions, Financial Aid, Registry and Academic Departments.

In a dynamic, international environment, you will explain financial information clearly to students, resolve questions with empathy, and contribute to automation of administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• 2–4 years in billing/collections or AR.
• Knowledge of accounting close processes.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing, enrollment, and related processes with Admissions, Financial Aid, Registry and Academic Departments.
• Process and reconcile daily bank transactions with traceable entries.
• Oversee donations from accounting and administrative perspectives.
• Serve as the go-to person for billing, payments, and financial queries by students.
• Support monthly and annual AR close and assist auditors with documentation.
• Escalate complex billing or collections issues requiring analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements and automation of admin tasks.
