American Express in Madrid is seeking a Regulatory Change professional to advise on new laws and participate in the Compliance Risk Assessment process and ensure effective challenge.

You will review communications for transparency and alignment with policies, support periodic policy reviews, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business. This role requires a Law degree, 4–6 years of regulatory experience, and fluency in English.

Formación

• University degree in Law is required.
• At least 4–6 years of regulatory compliance experience in financial institutions or the payments industry.
• High level of English, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with payment services regulation in Spain and Europe.
• Eligibility to work in Spain without visa sponsorship; background check will be conducted.

Requirements

• University degree (preferably in Law)
• At least 4–6 years of regulatory Compliance experience related to financial institutions or the payments industry
• High level of English, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with payment services regulation in Spain and Europe
• Ability to build positive relationships with business stakeholders and partners
• Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills
• Ability to adapt, handle several tasks simultaneously, and work as part of a team
• Analytical skills and strong business understanding
• Initiative and ability to assume responsibilities
• Employment eligibility to work with American Express in Spain required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship
• Successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regulations
