Zusammenfassung

EY GDS Spain is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to lead architecture, design, and delivery of advanced AI and Generative AI solutions for enterprise clients. The role requires strong Python production skills, GenAI expertise, and leadership to guide junior engineers.

You will work in a hybrid setup in Malaga, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure secure, scalable, and observable AI systems in production.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM fields (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics)
• 4–6+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering and enterprise delivery
• Advanced proficiency in Python, including production-grade coding (APIs, services, testing, CI/CD)
• Proven experience deploying AI/ML solutions to production (monitoring, retraining, lifecycle management)
• Concrete experience with GenAI/LLM frameworks and architectures (RAG, evaluation, prompt strategy, integration)
• Strong knowledge of cloud architectures (Azure preferred) and security/compliance principles
• Technical leadership experience and mentoring ability
• Professional proficiency in English
• Professional proficiency in Italian (mandatory)
• Ideally, experience with Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, or large-scale distributed systems
• Knowledge of data engineering tools (Spark/Databricks)
• Experience in regulated industries or auditing contexts
• Open-source contributions, publications, certifications

Aufgaben

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of advanced AI and Generative AI solutions for enterprise clients
• Oversee full lifecycle of complex AI initiatives with technical roadmaps and milestones
• Design and develop enterprise-grade components: inference services, ML/LLM pipelines, APIs, microservices
• Define and implement MLOps/LLMOps pipelines: registry, versioning, CI/CD, monitoring, retraining, rollback
• Implement GenAI solutions (RAG, evaluation, guardrails, retrieval strategies, secure orchestration)
• Ensure security, resilience, privacy-by-design, observability, and auditability
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, contribute to AI community assets and accelerators
• Manage stakeholders, align on KPIs, support proposals/presales when required
