Job summary

Roche in Madrid is seeking a senior AI Engineer who combines deep technical AI delivery with ownership of end-to-end solutions. You will design, build, and operate GenAI-enabled workflows and agentic systems across Pharma Technical Operations, collaborating with business, IT, quality, and product teams.

You will mentor engineers, drive architecture decisions, ensure reliability and compliance, and translate operational needs into scalable AI products that deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Proven track record delivering production-grade AI/ML solutions.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI delivery from problem framing to production operations.
• Design scalable AI architectures including data flows and APIs.
• Lead engineering practices: testing, CI/CD, observability, documentation.
• Mentor engineers and align AI work with business value.
• Ensure reliability, security, and compliance in production.
