We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to strengthen our artificial intelligence team. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of AI principles and is able to design, build and deploy AI solutions end to end.

What will you be accountable for?

As a Senior AI Engineer, you will:

• Lead the design, build and deployment of AI applications for a wide range of use cases, covering both classical machine learning and generative AI.
• Act as technical lead for a team of more junior engineers, guiding their work and helping them grow.
• Interact with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and explain technical decisions in a clear way.
• Stay current with advancements in AI and proactively propose innovations to our team and clients.

The final scope of the role, including the balance between classical machine learning and generative AI, will be tailored to your skills, experience and interests.

Why would we want to meet you?

We want to meet you if you have:

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related technical field.
• A solid understanding of AI fundamentals, covering both classical machine learning and generative AI.
• Proven experience building generative AI solutions, such as retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) systems and autonomous agents, along with the frameworks to evaluate them.
• Proficiency in Python and popular AI libraries.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP) and with deploying AI services in production.
• Strong software engineering practices, including version control, CI/CD, testing and containerization.
• Residence in Spain, or willingness to relocate there.

We will also value:

• A master’s degree or PhD in AI or a related field.
• The ability to work effectively with AI coding assistants, along with familiarity with spec‑driven development.
• A background in consulting or client‑facing projects.
• An excellent command of English (C1–C2 level).
