Winning Consulting is seeking an AI Engineer to join a Madrid-based project for an international insurance client. You will design and productionise AI features using LLMs, RAG, and agent frameworks, while ensuring guardrails, security and cost control.

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development or AI/ML.

At Winning Consulting, we are looking for an AI Engineer to join a project for one of our international clients in the insurance sector, based in Madrid.

Responsabilities:

• Design, build and productionise AI -enabled features and services using large language model, RAG, prompt engineering and agent frameworks/ orccestasion (such as LangChain, LangGraph or Semantic Kernel)
• Take AI solutions beyond prototype, owning evaluation, testing, guardrails, observability, security and cost managment.
• Rapdly prototype and validate ideas, turning concepts into working sofware withing days and proving out how to build the solution properly at scale.
• Direct AI coding assistants and agentic workflows (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) alongsinde your own hand-on expertise, and rigorously review both human-written and AI-genereated code against our architectural, development and security standards.
• Drive adoption of AI agent-led delivery across the team, coaching others in effective and responsible use of AI tooling so the capability spreads.
• Track AI and agentic technology trends outside the organisation and apply them pragmatically to our products, whilst developing deep domain knowledge.

What We Are Looking For:

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, AI, Machine Learning, or a related technical field
• Practical experience building with AI and agentic technologies: LLM, RAG, prompt engineering, and agent frameworks/ orchestation (LangChain, LangGraph, or Semantic Kernel)
• Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and agentic development tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) in a professional delivery setting, and the ability to critically review, validate and secure the code they produce
• Hands-on commercial experience in Azure cloud, using GitHub and Azure DevOps, across all phases of the SDLC and Agile delivery
• Good programming skills in Python
