Rakuten TV in Barcelona is looking for a Senior AP Accountant to lead Accounts Payable operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of high‑volume invoices and employee expenses.

You will oversee complex reconciliations, drive end‑to‑end P2P improvements, mentor a junior AP staff member, and support month‑end closings and audits. You will collaborate with banking partners and stay aligned with Rakuten Group policies.

Formación

• 5+ years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven experience with complex accounts reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process.
• Proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements or automation initiatives preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee high-volume vendor invoices processing, GL review, PO matching, and approvals.
• Manage employee expense reports with policy adherence.
• Maintain vendor relationships and resolve payment inquiries.
• Assist month-end/year-end closing, including accruals and expense recording.
• Lead and mentor the Junior AP team and support audits.
• Drive process improvements in P2P and system enhancements.
