Job summary

Bip Iberia seeks a qualified financial professional to manage daily accounting and administrative duties for renewable energy clients. You will prepare annual statements, assist in audits, and monitor internal controls while coordinating with the parent company.

Ideally you bring 3–5 years in Spanish finance, SAP proficiency, and strong Excel skills, with fluency in Spanish and English. A collaborative, proactive team member is essential for this role in our hybrid Madrid team.

Qualifications

• University degree in business or economics or higher education in administration or accounting.
• 3–5 years of experience in Spanish financial departments with knowledge of Spanish laws, taxes and local Gaap.
• Mandatory knowledge of SAP.
• Spanish native speaker with very good English; French or Italian is a plus.
• Knowledge of IFRS Gaap is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Daily accounting of the different companies/entities of the Renewable energy client.
• Administrative management of the different companies: documentation archiving, expense reports filing.
• Elaboration and presentation of Annual Statements.
• Collaborating in the audit process of the different companies being managed.
• Identification of deficiencies and follow-up of corrective actions.
• Regular monitoring of the adequacy and effective performance of controls over financial reporting.
• Management of accounts receivable and payable.
• Support in reporting activities to the parent company and management of client tools.
• Be the ambassador of the company's values internally and externally.

YOUR TASKS

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Business Administration, Economics or higher education in Administration or Accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in Spanish financial departments with knowledge of Spanish laws, taxes and local Gaap accounting
• Mandatory knowledge of SAP.
• Spanish native-speaker and very good command of English (written and spoken) are essential. Knowledge of French or Italian is a plus
• Knowledge of renewable sector and IFRS Gaap will be a plus.
• Reliable, task-oriented and proactive team member with good communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and under tight deadlines.
• Ability to analyse data and make decisions.Advanced knowledge of accounting software and Excel
