eDreams ODIGEO in Barcelona is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Finance team on a hybrid basis. You will analyze trade transactions and ensure accurate accounting across the ledger, supporting EBITDA and close processes.

The ideal candidate has at least four years of accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and advanced Excel. English fluency is required; Spanish language is a plus, and knowledge of the travel industry helps.

Formación

• Minimum 4 years of experience in accounting and analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent English communication skills; Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate & understand complex accounting processes and their potential impact on the P&L.
• Analysis of financial discrepancies related to automatic and manual processes.
• Enhance data analytics to provide greater insights.
• Proactively optimise work papers and processes.
• Review changes in year-to-date (YTD) trends and understand variations.
• Detect inconsistencies, assess their impact on EBITDA, and communicate with stakeholders to resolve them.
• Ensure accounting flows are accurate and database integrity is maintained, reviewing consistency reports regularly.
• Understand product flow processes and anticipate potential integration issues.
• Assist stakeholders with accounting matters and provide support for EBITDA follow-up and new product integration.
