About the Role

We're looking for a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our growing international finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and enjoys working with global teams in the SaaS industry. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with IFRS, and supporting continuous improvement across our accounting operations.

What You’ll Do

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month‑end closing.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS.
• Manage treasury operations, including payment processing, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• Support external audits by preparing schedules and documentation, and assist with tax filings and statutory reporting.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures across the Group.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (FP&A, Operations, Legal, HR) to provide financial insights and business recommendations.
• Stay current with changes in accounting standards and contribute to process and system improvements.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent certification preferred).
• Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, ideally within a SaaS or international technology company.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and international accounting practices.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with fluency in Spanish and professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a global team.
• Must have legal working status in the European Union.

Nice to Have

• Experience with US GAAP and UK GAAP.
• Background in multi‑entity, multi‑currency consolidations.
• Experience with ERP implementations or process automation (SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
