Job summary

GTT is seeking a Technical Design Authority (SD-WAN and Security Design) to design, document and govern security solutions while guiding blueprint offerings and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

The role involves presales participation, deployment handover, and collaboration with product management; occasional travel and remote work.

Applicants should have 4+ years in network security, multi-vendor experience and strong architecture skills.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in the network security industry.
• Develop design solutions following engineering best practices.
• Knowledge of Fortinet and Palo Alto security design concepts, implementation and support.
• Experience autonomous in a multi-vendor enterprise scale environment; ITIL V3 familiarity.
• Act as a security expert within the Managed Services Team for Service Delivery, Engineering, Operations, Product and Project Management.
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Aruba EdgeConnect, Palo Alto Prisma, Forti Secure SD-WAN).
• Security architecture for multi-platform solutions for managed security service clients.
• Technical lead during project planning, management and implementation of client solutions (Pilot & POC deployments).
• Participate in project calls with clients to review design requirements and security posture.
• Create security posture standards for end-clients and keep them updated.
• Translate business requirements into architectural building blocks.
• Assist in identifying and resolving security issues during deployment.
• Awareness of financial impact of strategic/operational decisions and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Experience working on major international and global accounts.
• Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Design bespoke customer network security models and review advanced configurations.
• Support pre-sales by positioning the appropriate security posture to customers.
• Monitor industry security updates and trends to improve security management.
• Liaise with partners/vendors to meet customer expectations.
• Produce and endorse security standards, reference architectures, deployment guides and roadmaps.
• Be the security SME for one or more customer accounts during delivery.
• Occasionally work at customer premises.
• Work across LAN/WAN, Security, Internet Services and UC services.
