Job summary

Gurobi Optimization is seeking a Security Engineer to provide direct security support for infrastructure and end-user systems across macOS and cloud environments. You will manage critical security controls, IAM, and MFA, with an emphasis on AI governance, data protection, and proactive risk mitigation.

Responsibilities include auditing AI platform security, cloud and on‑prem controls, and collaboration across global teams to implement robust security standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, information technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Five years of hands-on experience in security engineering or related roles.
• Active participation in cybersecurity community via orgs, conferences, trainings, or research.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct security support for infrastructure and end-user systems and services.
• Audit and update AI platform configurations to mitigate data leakage threats.
• Manage security systems such as firewall and network; IaC for cert deployment and renewal.
• Oversee phishing and malware detection and response measures.
• Coordinate vendor security assessments and customer audits; support certification efforts.
