Job summary

CAST AI, a remote-first platform, is looking for a dedicated Security Engineer to own the security of its multi-tenant cloud environment. You will focus on identifying high-impact risks across AWS, GCP, and Azure, Kubernetes, microservices, and AI-enabled components, driving mitigations with engineering teams.

You will report to the security leadership and work closely with the Platform and Compliance teams to translate requirements into practical technical work while evolving security standards

Qualifications

Hands-on cloud security experience in production environments.
Ability to design and drive threat modelling using formal methods.
Strong understanding of Kubernetes and cloud-native infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Learn CAST AI's architecture and workflows to identify security risks.
Set up and tune cloud security tooling so findings are actionable for engineering teams.
Build threat models for product and backend architecture, including trust boundaries and service-to-service auth.
Prioritize findings by business impact and exploitability, not all alerts.
Present risks to engineering leadership and advocate practical mitigations.
Guide engineering teams on security improvements and implement controls across production access, identity, and CI/CD.
