Syntax is seeking an experienced Security Delivery Manager to lead the secure delivery of our security portfolio and manage vendor initiatives across customer projects. This role blends delivery leadership with strategic vendor coordination to ensure services are delivered efficiently and securely.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage vendor relationships, and align with global delivery standards to maintain high quality, transparency, and customer trust across projects.

Security Delivery Manager (m/f/d) – Syntax

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Security Delivery Managertosupport product management of our security portfolio and all aspects of ourkey vendorinitiatives. This is a delivery-focused role that blends management and coordinationof all activities related to securityproduct management support and vendor/partner management, ensuring our security services are deliveredeffectively,and our vendor ecosystem is managed proactively.

About the Security Services Delivery Excellence Team

This role sits within the Security Services Delivery Excellence team, whose purpose is Elevating Security Delivery to a Standard of Excellence — enabling every other department to focus on its core purpose.

The team's principle is to Orchestrate, Not Operate: it focuses on how security services are delivered, not on what is engineered or operated. It defines the frameworks, standards, and metrics that empower Engineering and Operations to deliver consistently and efficiently. In practice, the team:

Unify the Service Experience — ensure that all security services, regardless of technical domain, follow a consistent delivery approach that enhances quality, transparency, and customer confidence.

Bridge Strategic and Operational Layers — connect the CISO's Engineering, Operations, and Governance towers through shared processes, common metrics, and maturity initiatives.

Institutionalize Service Excellence — establish a global framework for measuring quality, SLA performance, and customer satisfaction (KPI/KRI/NPS) without dictating technical execution.

Strengthen Readiness and Handoffs — coordinate readiness reviews, onboarding, and pre-launch validation to ensure services are operationally fit before handover to Operations.

Accelerate Continuous Improvement — lead cross-functional improvement programs based on service performance data and post-implementation insight, feeding lessons learned back into Engineering and Operations.

Enable Sustainable Growth — develop tools, dashboards, and delivery methodologies that scale globally, supporting rather than duplicating existing engineering or operational responsibilities.

Champion Collaboration and Clarity — serve as the single point of coordination for security service delivery excellence, ensuring alignment and clear ownership across all security towers.

Key Responsibilities

Product Management Support

Assist with product management activities for the security portfolio, supporting roadmap tracking, service definition updates, and coordination of product-related initiatives.

Act as a link between project delivery and product management, feeding delivery insights and vendor/customer input back into portfolio and service planning.

Support the preparation of product and portfolio materials such as roadmaps, release notes, and service documentation as needed.

Partner with the wider company including Infrastructure, Cloud, and Service Management or Customer Success Management to ensure successful outcomes.

Manage relationships with security vendors and partners at an operational and tactical level, including regular cadence calls, issue escalation, and performance tracking.

Coordinate vendor deliverables, renewals, onboarding, and service reviews in support of security portfolio and project delivery.

Act as the day-to-day point of contact for vendors on operational matters, escalating strategic or commercial issues to the appropriate owners.

Required Qualifications

Demonstrated experience (3+ years) Experience managing vendor or third-party relationships at an operational level, including performance tracking and issue resolution.

Provenexperience of working withsecurity products andservices

Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive outcomes with clarity, structure, and consistency.

Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to manage multiple concurrentactivitiesin a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting or working closely with a product management function, such as roadmap tracking, service/product definition, or portfolio reporting.

Experience managing initiatives involving one or more of the following technologies: Splunk Enterprise & Enterprise Security, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, Qualys, or CyberArk.

Additional mandatory requirements:

Nationality or Work Authorization:Spanish or Portuguese nationality, or alternatively a permanent work permit/VISA for Spain or Portugal.

Language Proficiency:Advanced level of Spanish and English (both written and spoken).
