Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Security Architect II to join the Security Operations Command Center.

You will respond to platform and carrier issues in real time and help ensure the stability of our world-class DDoS mitigation platform, providing analysis and network troubleshooting for customers. This role requires experience with Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS) and strong customer-facing skills, ability to work night shifts, and English communication.

• Experience with Internet technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS and web servers.
• Demonstrated experience in a customer-facing role and understanding of the consulting process.
• Proactivity, urgency, and a continuous learning mindset are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to platform and carrier issues in real time to maintain system stability.
• Provide analysis and network troubleshooting for customers on a global, high-traffic DDoS mitigation platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to scope, timeline, and implement technical security solutions.
• Support customers to remedy and resolve network and connectivity issues; communicate updates and results.
• Communicate complex technical content in English to customers and internal teams.

As part of our Security Operations team, you will be responsible for responding to platform and carrier issues in real time. Ensuring the stability of a world class DDoS attack mitigation platform, providing analysis and network troubleshooting for customers. Ensuring the stability of a world class DDoS attack mitigation platform, providing analysis and network troubleshooting for customers. You will be supporting some of the world's leading brands and dealing with the highest internet traffic.

As a Security Architect II, you will be responsible for:

• Engaging in mitigation techniques to prevent vector attacks

• Analysing customer traffic, applications and systems to tailor our security solutions and answer customers security needs

• Collaborating with a cross-functional project team to scope, set timelines, create technical solutions, and support the implementation.

• Providing support to customers to remedy and resolve network and connectivity issues

• Communicating with customers regarding challenges and providing updates and results on your mitigation and analysis

• Have experience with Internet technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS and web servers

• Demonstrate experience in a customer-facing role and an understanding of the consulting process

• Show proactivity and work with a sense of urgency combined with constant desire to learn

• Have good communication and collaboration skills and be an accountable member of the team

• Demonstrate written, verbal and presentation skills including communicating complex technical content in English

• Be able to work night shifts
