Responsibilities

Job description

Are you an experienced painter looking for a reliable full-time opportunity on the island? A construction company in Palma is looking for two painters to join their team on a permanent seasonal contract. You will work on various building and renovation projects across Mallorca, delivering quality preparation and finishing work while collaborating closely with site supervisors and colleagues.

In this role, you take care of preparing and finishing surfaces on active construction and maintenance projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities include sanding, plastering, repairing minor surface cracks, and applying primers, paints, and protective coatings. You also support basic masonry and site rehabilitation tasks, handle the loading, unloading, and organizing of materials and tools, and ensure the work areas are kept clean, covered, and protected. Following occupational health and safety guidelines and executing work according to the instructions of site managers is an essential part of your daily routine.

To be successful in this position, you should bring solid practical expertise and a responsible mindset. Requirements include:

• At least 24 months of verified professional experience in the painter category.
• Mandatory 20-hour occupational health and safety certificate for the construction sector (PRL Construcción).
• A valid category B driving licence.
• Training in working at heights is valued.
• Prior experience handling job-related machinery is an advantage.
• No specific formal academic qualifications are required.

The position offers a gross annual salary of 23,161.18 euros distributed across 14 payments. In addition, you receive applicable salary supplements and allowances under the Balearic Islands Construction Collective Agreement, as well as company contributions to the pension plan.

The schedule runs full-time from Monday to Friday, 7:30 to 15:30. The contract has an initial duration of 6 months with the possibility of extension, starting on October 26, 2026.
