Symrise is seeking an experienced seasoning developer to lead concepts from idea to production, ensuring performance and customer satisfaction. You will work with cross-functional teams and engage with a key snack customer to optimize formulations and validate them through lab and industrial trials.

You will support scale-up, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while translating market trends into relevant product development.

Formación

• 5–9 years of experience in seasoning, savory, or flavor development (ideally in snacks or savory foods).
• Fluent in English and Spanish (both required).
• Strong understanding of seasoning functionality in industrial food production.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of seasoning solutions tailored to customer product portfolios.
• Create, optimize, and adapt formulations based on performance targets, customer needs, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure excellent application performance in finished products, including taste, stability, and process behavior.
• Evaluate formulations through lab work, pilot trials, and industrial validation.
• Support scale-up and production trials, both internally and at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Act as a key technical contact for the customer on ongoing projects and innovation initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Sales, and Supply Chain.
• Deliver projects on time, fully documented, and aligned with internal processes and customer constraints.
• Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
