TOPIC Embedded Systems invites a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to build production-grade test infrastructure and automation for embedded systems. You will design and implement test frameworks in C++ and/or Python, working closely with software engineers on complex hardware-software platforms.

You bring 5 years in the high‑tech domain, strong OO skills, and hands-on automation with Robot Framework, TDD/BDD practices, and CI/CD experiences. English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Embedded Systems or similar.
• Experience with Python, C++ and OO programming concepts.
• Hands-on test automation and strong collaboration with software engineers.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain test frameworks and automation tooling using C++ and/or Python.
• Contribute to production code and testability improvements in collaboration with software engineers.
• Develop automated tests across unit, integration, and system levels.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and test infrastructure for fast feedback.
• Analyze complex systems and trace root causes in code.
• Drive testability, observability, and quality-by-design in development teams.
• Work on embedded/hardware-software integration systems with real-world impact.
• Take ownership of test architecture and tooling decisions.
• Improve automation strategy with scalability and maintainability focus.
