Job summary

Stockholm's International Nanny Agency Handelsbolag in Madrid is seeking a caring nanny for a long-term rotational role with Scandinavian roots. You will join a friendly family with two children, ages 7 and 5, while a baby nurse cares for the infant.

The schedule rotates: 15 days on (full-time, about 5–7 hours/day, 6 days/week) and 15 days flexible with reduced hours, sharing duties with another nanny. Salary €5,000–€6,000 gross per month with accommodation provided and flights included; travel

Qualifications

• Strong first-hand knowledge of Scandinavian culture from having lived in Sweden, Denmark or Norway.
• Fluent spoken English.
• Proven childcare experience, ideally with children from infancy up to 7.
• Patient, kind, reliable and flexible, with a positive, team-minded attitude.
• Interest in a long-term position.

Responsibilities

• Give attentive, nurturing care to the 5- and 7-year-old.
• Support their daily routines, activities and play.
• Help with homework and learning activities.
• Encourage their development and share Scandinavian culture, traditions and everyday ways of doing things.
• Work closely with the other nanny and the household staff.
• Travel with the family now and then, usually to Mallorca. A trip to the US next summer is possible but not confirmed.
