Prime Response, Inc. in Catalonia, Spain, is seeking a Scaffolding Supervisor to supervise erection, modification and dismantling of scaffolding, ensuring adherence to procedures, drawings and safety regulations.

You will inspect structures, coordinate teams, manage materials, conduct toolbox talks and drive corrective actions, with strong reading of technical drawings and leadership skills.

Formación

• Technical or vocational background in scaffolding or construction.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Knowledge of HSE standards and working-at-height safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate scaffolding erection, modification, and dismantling activities.
• Ensure all scaffolding works are performed in accordance with approved procedures, drawings, and safety regulations.
• Inspect scaffolding structures to ensure stability, integrity, and compliance with HSE requirements.
• Ensure scaffolding is properly tagged and inspected before being released for use.
• Coordinate and allocate tasks to scaffolders and scaffolding teams.
• Monitor daily activities, productivity, and work progress.
• Ensure scaffolding materials and equipment are properly stored, maintained, and accounted for.
• Conduct toolbox talks and reinforce safe working practices.
• Identify potential hazards and implement appropriate corrective and preventive measures.
• Coordinate with construction, maintenance, and HSE teams to ensure smooth execution of activities.

Requirements

• Technical or vocational qualification in Scaffolding, Construction, or a related field.
• Valid Scaffolding Supervisor certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in mining, oil & gas, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, erection techniques, and inspection procedures.
• Knowledge of HSE standards and working-at-height safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Good leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Portuguese required; English will be an Advantage.
