INTEC Energy Solutions busca un SCADA Manager para proyectos de EPC en energía solar y BESS. Liderarás el diseño, coordinación e implementación de sistemas SCADA, gestionando el ciclo completo de ingeniería y asegurando cumplimiento de normas, ciberseguridad y regulaciones de conexión a red.

Colaborarás con clientes, EPCs y proveedores, revisando documentación, diagramas y pruebas, y supervisando FAT/SAT y puesta en marcha.

Formación

• Se requiere título universitario en ingeniería eléctrica u afines.
• Al menos 8 años de experiencia en ingeniería SCADA y sistemas de automatización.
• Capacidad de liderazgo de equipos y gestión de proyectos EPC.

Responsabilidades

• Liderar el diseño, coordinación e implementación de sistemas SCADA para proyectos de energía solar y BESS.
• Gestión del ciclo completo de ingeniería y cumplimiento de normas y ciberseguridad.
• Coordinar con clientes, EPCs, proveedores y equipos internos; revisar documentación, diagramas y pruebas.
• Supervisar FAT/SAT, energización y puesta en marcha de sistemas SCADA.
• Mantener control de documentación, riesgos técnicos y planificaciones de ingeniería.

As the SCADA Manager (Utility-Scale Solar PV & BESS), you will lead the design, coordination, implementation, and technical management of SCADA systems for utility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete SCADA engineering lifecycle, leading multidisciplinary engineering activities, coordinating with clients, suppliers, EPC partners, and internal teams, while ensuring compliance with international standards, cybersecurity requirements, and grid connection regulations. This role requires both strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to successfully deliver complex renewable energy projects across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all SCADA engineering activities throughout project execution.
• Manage the preparation, review, and approval of SCADA system design documentation for utility-scale PV and BESS projects.
• Define SCADA system architecture, communication network topology, system block diagrams, interface drawings, and overall control philosophy.
• Review and approve communication layouts, fiber optic layouts, network architecture drawings, equipment connection diagrams, and SCADA system architecture documentation.
• Oversee the preparation and validation of: Signal Lists, I/O Lists, Tag Lists, Protocol Mapping Tables, Alarm Lists, Data Point Schedules
• Lead the integration of SCADA with: Power Plant Controller (PPC), Energy Management System (EMS), Inverters, Battery Energy Storage Systems, RTUs, Protection Relays, Weather Stations, Energy Meters, MV Switchgear, Other plant communication devices.
• Review vendor documentation for SCADA, PPC, EMS, RTUs, communication equipment, networking devices, and industrial automation systems.
• Lead technical discussions with clients, Owner's Engineers, EPC contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors regarding SCADA-related matters.
• Ensure all SCADA deliverables comply with project specifications, cybersecurity requirements, IEC standards, utility requirements, and international grid codes.
• Support procurement activities through technical evaluations, vendor selection, and clarification meetings.
• Manage SCADA engineering schedules, resource planning, workload distribution, and engineering quality.
• Provide technical leadership during FAT, SAT, commissioning, energization, and troubleshooting activities.
• Review commissioning procedures, functional descriptions, method statements, and testing documentation.
• Establish engineering best practices, technical standards, and design guidelines for SCADA systems.
• Mentor and technically support SCADA Engineers and junior engineering team members.
• Coordinate closely with Electrical Design, Protection & Control, BESS, Civil, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams.
• Monitor engineering progress, manage technical risks, and ensure timely project delivery.
• Maintain proper document control, design review records, NCR responses, and technical coordination logs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in SCADA engineering, automation systems, or industrial communication systems.
• Minimum 3 years of experience leading SCADA engineering teams or acting as a technical lead.
• Strong experience in utility-scale Solar PV, BESS, substations, power plants, or industrial automation projects.
• Proven experience managing SCADA engineering throughout the full EPC project lifecycle.
• Excellent understanding of: SCADA Systems, PPC, EMS, Industrial Networking, Data Acquisition Systems, OT Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols: IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-104, Modbus TCP/IP, Modbus RTU, OPC UA, DNP3 (preferred), TCP/IP.
• Strong understanding of: Industrial Ethernet, Fiber Optic Communication, VLAN, Managed Switches, Firewalls, Routers, IP Addressing, Redundant Communication Networks.
• Ability to review and approve: Communication Diagrams, Single Line Diagrams, Network, Architecture Drawings, Interface Drawings, Control Philosophy Documents.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Strong leadership, coordination, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
