Job summary

SCI ServiClients in Barcelona is seeking a SAP TM ABAP Developer to design, develop and support ABAP solutions within SAP Transportation Management on S/4HANA.

Qualifications

Mission of the role

Your mission will be to design, develop and support custom SAP ABAP solutions within SAP Transportation Management, ensuring that complex transportation and logistics processes operate efficiently within a SAP S/4HANA landscape.

You’ll combine strong ABAP on HANA development expertise with modern SAP technologies such as RAP, CDS Views and Fiori extensibility, while supporting integration scenarios involving SAP BTP APIs and SAP BRIM.

What your day-to-day will look like in this project

Design, develop and maintain custom SAP TM solutions using ABAP on HANA, including enhancements, user exits, BAdIs and custom programs.

Build and extend business logic using SAP RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model) to support modern, cloud-ready application development.

Develop and enhance SAP Fiori applications through in-app extensibility techniques.

Design and implement Core Data Services (CDS) Views for reporting, analytics and application logic.

Configure and extend SAP TM PPF (Post Processing Framework) for automated actions, output determination and follow-on document processing.

Support integration scenarios using SAP BTP APIs, including troubleshooting connectivity issues and maintaining existing integrations.

Apply knowledge of SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management) to support integration between transportation, billing and revenue processes.

Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and end-to-end custom developments.

Perform unit testing, support system integration testing and prepare technical documentation.

Collaborate with SAP functional consultants, solution architects and business stakeholders to deliver solutions aligned with operational requirements.

Investigate technical issues, perform debugging and provide production support for SAP TM custom developments.

Contribute to improving application performance, code quality and maintainability within HANA-based environments.

What will help you succeed in this position

You’ll feel comfortable here if you bring at least 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience, including advanced knowledge of ABAP on HANA, and a minimum of 3 years of hands-on SAP Transportation Management (TM) ABAP development.

Strong practical experience with SAP RAP, CDS Views, SAP Fiori In-App Extensibility and SAP TM PPF will be essential to contribute effectively to the project.

You should also have current hands-on experience with SAP BTP APIs and integration scenarios, alongside working knowledge of SAP BRIM and its relationship with billing and revenue processes.

Beyond technical development, this role requires someone who can understand business requirements, collaborate with functional teams and translate complex logistics needs into robust technical solutions.
