Job summary

VBeyond Europe is seeking a Senior SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant in Spain/Poland to lead design, configuration, and rollout of SAP TM solutions across the supply chain. You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end transportation management and ensure seamless integration with SAP SD and ERP/S4HANA.

The role requires hands‑on TM implementation, strong process knowledge, and experience with SAP CPI or PI/PO for system integration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience in SAP TM implementation, rollout, configuration, and support projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP SD, including order-to-cash, pricing and delivery management.
• Experience integrating SAP TM with SAP ERP, S/4HANA, and external logistics platforms using SAP CPI or PI/PO.
• Experience in requirements gathering, functional design, system configuration, testing, and production support.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP TM implementation: design, configuration, implementation, and rollout to meet business requirements.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP TM, SAP SD, ERP/S4HANA, and external carrier systems using SAP CPI/PI/PO.
• Gather business requirements, analyze processes, and translate needs into functional designs and technical solutions.
• Improve end-to-end transportation processes including freight planning, order management, carrier selection, and settlement.
• Lead testing (unit, integration, UAT) and support deployment activities.
• Provide advanced production support for complex SAP TM issues and drive timely resolution.
• Mentor junior consultants and promote best practices.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant to support the implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization of SAP TM solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience across end‑to‑end SAP TM processes, a solid understanding of SAP Sales and Distribution (SD), and practical experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or SAP PI/PO.

In this role, you will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver effective transportation management solutions, streamline logistics operations, and ensure seamless integration across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• SAP TM Implementation: Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and rollout of SAP TM solutions to meet business and transportation requirements.
• System Integration: Ensure seamless integration between SAP TM, SAP SD, SAP ERP/S/4HANA, and external logistics or carrier systems using SAP CPI or PI/PO.
• Business Requirements & Solution Design: Gather and analyze business requirements, assess existing processes, and translate business needs into functional designs and technical solutions.
• Transportation Process Optimization: Improve end‑to‑end transportation processes, including freight planning, freight order management, carrier selection, freight execution, charge management, and freight settlement.
• Testing & Deployment: Lead unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT), and support deployment activities to ensure successful implementation.
• Production Support: Provide advanced technical and functional support for complex SAP TM issues and drive timely resolution.
• Knowledge Sharing: Mentor junior consultants and business users, promote best practices, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications

• Experience in requirements gathering, functional design, system configuration, testing, and production support.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management, including embedded and standalone TM scenarios.
• Basic ABAP debugging skills and experience preparing functional specifications for custom enhancements.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or global supply chain operations.
• SAP Transportation Management certification.
