Stefanini Group is seeking an experienced SAP PM/PPM Technical Lead to provide technical leadership across SAP PM and PPM in a global, collaborative environment. The role requires hands-on SAP consulting/development background and strong emphasis on design, integration, and modernization.

Hybrid work model with Oviedo on-site as needed; long-term engagement in Energy & Utilities sector beneficial. Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration are essential.

Formación

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Up to 15 years in SAP technologies and architecture.
  • Strong SAP consultant/developer background.
  • Experience with SAP PM and SAP PPM.
  • Hands-on SAP tech experience across applications/services.
  • Experience designing complex SAP solutions & integrations.
  • Knowledge of SAP architecture, interfaces, data flows, and security.
  • Experience on enterprise-scale projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills; structured approach.
  • Ability to work with global distributed teams.
  • Knowledge of Energy & Utilities market and GDPR/RGPD.

We are seeking an experienced SAP PM / PPM Technical Lead to provide technical leadership across SAP Plant Maintenance and Project Portfolio Management solutions. The role requires a strong technical background as an SAP consultant and/or developer, hands‑on experience with SAP PM and PPM, and the ability to design and guide the implementation of complex solutions in a global, collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will support strategic initiatives, contribute to the evolution and quality of the SAP application landscape, and work closely with business, functional, technical, infrastructure, and delivery teams. Experience in the electricity or Energy & Utilities sector will be highly valued.

  • Work model: hybrid (on-site in Oviedo when needed);

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership for SAP PM and SAP PPM applications and related integrations.
  • Lead the technical analysis, design, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of SAP solutions.
  • Translate business and functional requirements into robust, scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions.
  • Design complex solutions involving SAP modules, external applications, interfaces, data flows, and enterprise services.
  • Provide hands‑on technical guidance and support to SAP consultants, developers, integration teams, and other delivery teams.
  • Analyse existing SAP solutions and identify opportunities for modernization, optimization, simplification, and technical debt reduction.
  • Support integration between SAP and surrounding systems using appropriate interfaces, APIs, web services, middleware, and integration technologies.
  • Participate in technical design reviews, solution assessments, estimation activities, and implementation planning.
  • Ensure that SAP solutions comply with architectural, security, quality, data protection, and operational standards, including GDPR/RGPD requirements.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, enterprise architects, project managers, product owners, infrastructure teams, and suppliers.
  • Contribute to strategic projects and provide technical input throughout the application lifecycle.
  • Support incident investigation, root‑cause analysis, problem management, and the resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Promote consistent development, testing, release, documentation, and change‑management practices.
  • Communicate technical risks, dependencies, decisions, and recommendations clearly to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Professional experience of up to 15 years in relevant SAP technologies, platforms, programming languages, frameworks, or solution architecture.
  • Strong technical background as an SAP consultant and/or SAP developer.
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and SAP Project Portfolio Management (PPM).
  • Hands‑on experience with the SAP technologies used by the applications and services under responsibility.
  • Experience designing and implementing complex SAP solutions and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of SAP application architecture, technical dependencies, interfaces, enhancements, data flows, and operational considerations.
  • Experience working on strategic, enterprise‑scale, or business‑critical projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills, with a structured and solution‑oriented approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to work effectively in collaborative environments and with global, geographically distributed teams.
  • Strong commitment to delivery quality, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Knowledge of the Energy & Utilities market and GDPR/RGPD is highly valued.
Required Language Skills
  • Spanish: mandatory, written and spoken.
  • English: mandatory, written and spoken, for collaboration with global teams.
  • Portuguese: valued, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the electricity, utilities, energy, or asset‑intensive industries.
  • Experience with SAP PM processes related to maintenance planning, work orders, notifications, technical objects, equipment, functional locations, and maintenance execution.
  • Experience with SAP PPM processes related to project planning, project governance, portfolio management, budgeting, prioritization, and project execution.
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC environments.
  • Experience with SAP enhancement and integration technologies, such as ABAP, BAdIs, user exits, RFC, IDoc, OData, APIs, web services, or equivalent technologies.
  • Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Integration Suite, or comparable lifecycle and integration platforms.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Practical experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Relevant SAP certifications or formal training in SAP PM, PPM, S/4HANA, architecture, or integration.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a hybrid model with periodic presence at client’s offices in Oviedo.
  • Technical Debt Backlog: identification, analysis, prioritization, and tracking of technical debt across SAP PM, PPM, integrations, custom developments, and related application components.
  • Application Technical Documentation: accurate and maintainable documentation covering SAP architecture, solution components, configurations, custom developments, interfaces, dependencies, data flows, security, deployment, and operational procedures.
  • Infrastructure Change Requests: complete and technically justified requests for infrastructure or platform changes, including scope, impact assessment, dependencies, implementation approach, validation criteria, and rollback considerations.
