Eaton Corporation seeks an experienced System Architect to define and communicate a shared architectural vision for a complex SAP-driven product portfolio. You will drive MM/WMS configurations in ECC and S/4HANA, align with enterprise guardrails, and collaborate with Agile teams to validate solutions.

You will partner with Enterprise Architects to ensure scalable, secure, and automated delivery across diverse IT landscapes, enabling business agility and value realization.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of experience shipping high quality software products.
• Extensive experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA across MM/WM, SD, FICO & PP.
• Strong integration knowledge including intralogistics, IoT, MES, PLM.

• Lead and participate in planning, definition, development and high level design of complex product solutions and architectural options.
• Enable a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelines.
• Define interfaces, data structures, storage, integrations, security, and test/ deployment approaches.

What you’ll do:

Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a System Architect to join our Information Technology team and the role can reside in any Eaton facility. This position is responsible for defining and communicating a shared architectural vision for a complex product (highly integrated, multiple applications) that enable them to support current and future business needs.

The SAP System Architect - Source & Make will be required to be an expert in SAP MM & WM/EWM module with exposure to manufacturing processes within a highly integrated and diverse IT landscape.

You will collaborate with Agile teams to consider solutions, validate technology assumptions, evaluate alternatives, and converge on a solution.

Finally, the System Architect will work closely with Enterprise and Solution Architects to deliver solutions that are aligned to the broader architecture guardrails.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in the planning, definition, development, and high-level design of complex product solutions and architectural alternatives
• Enable a continuous delivery pipeline through proper design guidelines
• Define and communicate system interfaces, data structures, data storage, integrations, cybersecurity considerations, test automation concepts, and deployment approaches
• Configure standard business process in Material Management, Warehouse Management Modules in both ECC and S/4HANA
• Design business process integration of SAP MM with SD, FICO & PP in ECC & S/4HANA
• Establish and communicate critical nonfunctional requirements
• Consider the impact economic boundaries have on design decisions and operate accordingly
• Participate in solution planning, incremental planning, product demos, and inspect and adapt events
• Plan and develop the architectural runway for a product that supports desired business outcomes
• Provide technical oversight and encourage security, quality, and automation
• Effectively negotiate with the business to ensure nonfunctional work (e.g. patching, platform upgrade etc.) is properly prioritized and worked on to reduce the accumulation of technical debt over time

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
• 8+ years of experience in the software industry with a proven track record of shipping high quality products
• Extensive experience utilizing best practices in SAP ECC and S/4 HANA
• Expert level understanding of Material Management, Warehouse Management module in both ECC and S/4 HANA environment
• Extensive experience integrations with PP, SD, FI/CO, as well as boundary systems such as intralogistics, shopfloor connectivity (IoT), PLM and MES
• Working knowledge of EDI
• Exposure to SAP BTP environment is preferred
• Extensive experience with SAP APIs, Event Mesh and Kafka is preferred.
• Extensive experience working with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
