Fusion Consulting seeks a SAP MDG Functional Consultant – Business Partner to lead MDG solutions for Customer and Supplier master data in a major SAP transformation. You will design governance processes, collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Finance and Master Data teams, and work with SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.

The role emphasizes governance design, data models, migrations, testing, and go-live activities across the MDG lifecycle.

We are looking for an experienced SAP MDG Functional Consultant – Business Partner to support a major SAP transformation initiative. The role requires strong functional expertise in SAP MDG Business Partner, Customer, and Supplier master data, with responsibility for designing governance processes and functional solutions across the end-to-end master data lifecycle.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead the functional design and implementation of SAP MDG solutions for the Business Partner domain, including Customer and Supplier master data.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into MDG governance processes, workflows, and functional designs.
• Design governance processes covering business partner creation, onboarding, maintenance, approval, qualification, and lifecycle management.
• Define MDG data models, change request types, approval workflows, validations, derivations, and replication requirements.
• Work closely with Sales, Procurement, Finance, Supply Chain, and Master Data stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical, integration, and SAP teams to ensure functional requirements are correctly translated into technical solutions.
• Support Customer/Vendor Integration (CVI) and Business Partner integration scenarios in SAP S/4HANA.
• Support data migration, mass upload, data validation, reconciliation, testing, UAT, and go-live activities.
• Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, and design decisions.
• Support SAP MDG migration, upgrade, and transformation activities across SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.

• 7–10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3–5 years of hands-on SAP MDG functional experience.
• Strong functional expertise in SAP MDG Business Partner.
• Strong understanding of Customer, Supplier, and Business Partner master data.
• Experience with MDG data models, workflows, change requests, validations, derivations, and replication.
• Good understanding of CVI and Customer/Vendor integration.
• Experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments, including MDG migration, upgrade, or transformation programs.
• Experience with data migration, mass upload, data validation, reconciliation, and error-handling processes.
• Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Master Data Governance Certification.
• Experience with SAP MDG on S/4HANA, including co-deployed and hub deployment models.
• Experience with MDG Consolidation and Mass Processing.
• Experience with SAP Fiori.
• Understanding of SAP Clean Core architecture.
• Experience in large-scale global SAP S/4HANA transformation and template rollout programs.
