rindus is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Master Data Functional Consultant to join our team in a distributed setup with an office in Málaga (Spain) or remote from home. You will own master data processes and governance within an S/4HANA Fashion landscape, working with data owners and SI partners.

You will collaborate across Sales, Sourcing & Procurement, Supply Chain and Finance, driving data quality, governance, and end-to-end data lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an SAP Master Data Functional Consultant.
• Participation in at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation.
• Strong S/4HANA Master Data and cross-functional integration knowledge.

We are currently collaborating with their e-commerce division, with the headquarters in Düsseldorf (Germany), you will work in a distributed team from our office in Málaga (Spain) or from home.

What you'll be doing

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Master Data Functional Consultant to join our organization as an in-house functional consultant within our S/4HANA Fashion Master Data landscape. This role will play a key part in the design and delivery of Master Data capabilities within an S/4HANA Fashion implementation, working closely with business data owners and cross-functional stakeholders and supported by System Integrator (SI) counterparts responsible for configuration and technical delivery.

The role is focused on modern S/4HANA Master Data Management capabilities and best practices, with strong emphasis on data governance, data quality, business partner management, material master management, data harmonization, and close interaction with cross-functional partners across the enterprise.

S/4HANA Master Data Solution Ownership

• Act as an in-house functional consultant for SAP S/4HANA Master Data, coordinating with the Master Data Lead, with a focus on Business Partner, Material Master, Customer, Supplier, and governance processes.
• Own the end-to-end functional design of master data processes, standards, and governance frameworks across the SAP S/4HANA Fashion solution.
• Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for the System Integrator.
• Review and approve master data configuration, enhancements, validation rules, and functional designs.

Cross-Functional Integration & Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Sourcing & Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure alignment of shared master data objects and business requirements.
• Ensure consistency and harmonization of Business Partner, Site, and Material master data across business processes.
• Ensure end-to-end business process integration through high-quality and governed master data.

Business & Stakeholder Engagement

• Support the SAP Master Data Lead as contact for business data owners, governance teams, and cross-functional partners.
• Facilitate workshops on SAP S/4HANA master functionality and master data lifecycle processes.
• Advise stakeholders on S/4HANA Master Data capabilities, governance best practices, and standard SAP functionality.

System Integrator Collaboration

• Work closely with SI consultants to ensure quality functional delivery.
• Review configuration rationale, RICEFW objects, data governance designs, and integration scenarios.
• Challenge non-standard or overly complex designs.

Testing, Cutover & Go-Live Support

• Define and support end-to-end testing, including master data process validation and cross-functional business process testing.
• Support cutover activities related to data migration, data validation, and master data readiness.
• Provide go-live and hypercare support.

Integration & Landscape Design

• Support integration across an S/4HANA-centric landscape with multiple partner non-SAP systems.
• Contribute to harmonized enterprise master data design and governance processes.
• Ensure robust integration of master data with downstream and upstream applications.

Post-Go-Live & Continuous Improvement

• Act as functional owner of S/4HANA Master Data.
• Manage enhancements and contribute to cross-functional roadmap initiatives.

What you'll bring

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an SAP Master Data Functional Consultant.
• Participation in at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation.
• Strong S/4HANA Master Data and cross-functional integration knowledge.
• Deep expertise in Business Partner, Site, and Material Master data management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Fashion.
• Experience in the Fashion or Apparel/Footwear industry.
• Experience in multi-entity or global environments.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology.
