Job summary

SAP Internship Experience Program in Barcelona is a global, paid internship designed for university students to gain hands-on experience in IT sales and digital prospecting. Start dates are monthly, with a minimum of six months at 39.5 hours per week.

Fluent European Portuguese and strong Business English are required. You will learn how to engage prospects, prepare conversations with C-level decision-makers, and support the sales team in pipeline growth.

About the SAP Internship Experience Program

The SAP Internship Experience Program is a global, strategic, paid internship program designed to provide university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers.

You'll gain hands?on experience, structured learning, and exposure to real business challenges, while being part of a vibrant global intern community.

Start date: 1st or 15th of each month (subject to business needs and completion of the recruitment and onboarding process)

Duration: minimum of 6 months (full?time, 39.5 hours/week)

Languages Required

We are hiring for the Portugal market, so fluent European Portuguese is required for this role. In addition, strong Business English (verbal and written) is required, as it is the working language across teams.

Who You Are

You are interested in starting a career in IT sales and are attracted to customer?facing roles.

• In the final stages of your education (bachelor's or master's student)

Your work will directly support our Sales Developers and Account Executives in building a high?quality pipeline that fuels SAP's growth engine.

During your internship, you will have the opportunity to learn best practices in digital prospecting, including:

• Gaining a working understanding of industry?specific trends and how SAP delivers value
• Observing how to prepare for conversations with C?level decision?makers

• Building foundational knowledge in sales data management, including profiling target accounts and understanding industry segmentation

• Exploring how digital marketing signals can support account qualification and highlight high?potential prospects
• Driving awareness of the internship program by promoting it through social media, university channels, and job boards
