Job summary

maxon is recruiting in Barcelona for a Salesforce Engineer to build, upgrade and run Sales Cloud. You join a small Salesforce team in Barcelona and Switzerland, collaborating with external partners, owning features from refinement to production in a hybrid setup.

The role requires 3+ years of Salesforce delivery, Apex, Sales Cloud, Lightning Web Components, and Git/CI/CD, with English fluency and Barcelona-based work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years delivering production Salesforce solutions with substantial Apex development and Sales Cloud work.
• Hands-on Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Solid Salesforce security and data model: profiles and permission sets, sharing, CRUD/FLS, governor limits.
• Integration basics: REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, authentication and API limits.
• Git, Salesforce DX and CI/CD; automated testing and production troubleshooting.
• A standard-first mindset and ownership of production quality.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or software engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluent English.
• Based in Spain (Barcelona).

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Sales Cloud features for leads, accounts, contacts, opportunities, activities, quoting and approvals.
• Develop Apex classes, triggers, asynchronous processing and platform events, and Lightning Web Components where standard UI is not enough.
• Configure Sales Cloud with objects, Flow, validation rules, permissions, Lightning App Builder and reports – standard first, code where it pays off.
• Provide the Salesforce side of integrations (data model, Apex services, events, APIs, authentication) together with a dedicated Integration Engineer.
• Ship through Git, Salesforce DX and CI/CD, with automated tests for Apex, Flow and LWC and peer code reviews.
• Troubleshoot production issues, find root causes and fix them for good.
• Work with AI coding assistants as part of the team's daily workflow – and stay fully accountable for everything you deliver.

apeirum is recruiting on behalf of maxon for a Salesforce Engineer in Barcelona. This is a permanent position employed directly by maxon; apeirum runs the selection process.

As Salesforce Engineer you build, enhance and run maxon's Sales Cloud – the platform behind its global sales processes. The role combines strong Apex back-end engineering with hands‑on configuration and Lightning Web Components where a custom experience is needed. You join a small Salesforce team in Barcelona and Switzerland, work closely with an external development partner and the Sales process owners, and own your features from refinement to production. Hybrid in Barcelona (3 days office, 2 remote), with occasional travel to Switzerland for onboarding and workshops.

Requirements – must have

• Around 3+ years delivering production Salesforce solutions, with substantial Apex development and Sales Cloud work.

• Strong Apex: SOQL/SOSL, triggers, asynchronous processing and test classes.

• Practical Sales Cloud expertise: lead-to-opportunity, accounts and contacts, activities, approvals, sharing.

• Hands‑on Lightning Web Components, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.

• Solid Salesforce security and data model: profiles and permission sets, sharing, CRUD/FLS, governor limits.

• Integration basics: REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, authentication and API limits.

• Git, Salesforce DX and CI/CD; automated testing and production troubleshooting.
