Novanta, a leader in RFID and robotics tech, invites applications for a Robotics Developer to build and integrate robotic systems across hardware, software and control layers. You will design, implement, test and deploy autonomous solutions with cross‑functional teams.

Requirements: 2+ years in ROS and autonomous mobile robotics; Python or C++ proficiency; ROS fluency; Bachelor's or Master's in a related field.

Formación

• 2+ years of experience in ROS and autonomous mobile robotics.
• Proficiency in Python or C++.
• Fluency with ROS.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge/experience in RFID technology is a plus.
• Knowledge/experience in frontend development with Vue is a plus.
• English fluency; Spanish is a plus; EU work eligibility.

About Keonn

Keonn is a manufacturer of RFID hardware and software products for different sectors, like retail, healthcare, libraries, industry, and logistics.We provide RFID systems mainly for the retail and healthcare sectors, as well as RFID UHF components for any industry. One of the RFID systems is Robin, our RFID robot.

Keonn's team is comprised of experienced engineers and PhDs with deep knowledge in fields like radiofrequency, antennas, electronics, robotics, firmware, and cloud-based software. Keonn is now part of Novanta.

Job description

We are seeking a talented and innovative Robotics Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing robotic systems and robotics software to automate tasks, improve efficiency, and solve real-world problems. You will work across interdisciplinary teams to integrate hardware, software, and control systems, and play a key role in the development and deployment of intelligent robotic solutions.

Your tasks

• Design, develop, maintain and test robotic systems and applications.
• Write and maintain software for robot control, perception, navigation, and user interfaces.
• Hardware management and robotics stock maintenance.
• Collaborate with other engineers to build and refine robotic products.
• Perform simulations and real-world testing to validate system performance.
• Troubleshoot and optimize system behavior in various environments.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in robotics, AI, and automation technologies.

We expect

• Demonstrable 2+ years experience in ROS and autonomous mobile robotics.
• Fluency developing with Python or C++.
• Fluency with ROS.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge and experience in RFID technology is a big plus.
• Knowledge and experience in frontend development with VUE is also a big plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Fluent in English, Spanish is a big plus.
• You are a resident of the EU or are in possession of an EU working permit and permanent residency.
