ABB Ltd in Spain seeks an early-career engineer to lead the implementation of ABB’s AMR catalog—Flexley Tug, Flexley Mover and Flexley Stack—for intralogistics projects across Spain and internationally.

You will collaborate with project managers and senior engineers to drive system requirements, ensure safety and quality, and travel 40–50% to client sites for installations and commissioning.

Formación

• Engineering degree in automation/robotics or related field.
• At least 1 year in customer commissioning and incident resolution.
• Commitment to following safety guidelines.
• Willingness to travel 40–50% internationally.
• Strong written and spoken English communications.

This Position reports to: Senior Project Lead Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll be an integral part of a high-performance team leading the implementation of ABB’s cutting-edge AMR product catalogue —Flexley Tug, Flexley Mover, and Flexley Stack— across diverse client environments. From technical upgrades to full-scale deployments, you’ll be at the heart of projects that shape the future of intralogistics.

You’ll work both at ABB’s facilities inMadrigalejo del Monte, Burgos (Spain)and on-site with clients across Spain and internationally (approx. 40–50% travel), ensuring seamless execution and delivery of project milestones.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting the definition, and development of system requirements, and ensuring alignment with safety, and quality standards
• Leading validation and commissioningprocesses to guarantee successful system start-ups — on time, on budget, and with precision
• Delivering resultsby executing project deliverables and maintaining clear, accurate, and timely documentation throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborating cross-functionallywith project managers, leading engineers, clients, and partners to resolve technical challenges both remotely and on-site
• Champion safetyby managing occupational risk and ensuring a safe working environment during all project phases
• Owning your impactby contributing to risk assessments, work plans, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications for the Role

• FP Higher Degree / Vocational Schools or Engineering on Automatic Regulation and Control Systems or related fields (Industrial automation, Industrial electronics, Robotics…)
• Demonstrable experience of at least 1 year in customer commissioning activities and incident resolution (preferably with assistance experience abroad)
• A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
• High level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
• Professional competence in general and technical English, both spoken and written
