WTW is seeking a Risk Engineer based in Barcelona to perform P&C risk surveys, assess processes and protection systems, and issue reports for underwriting and risk improvement. The role offers exposure to a variety of industries and interaction with the insurance sector.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering degree (BSc/MSc) with English and Spanish proficiency, and availability to travel within Spain and abroad. Immediate availability is preferred.

Formación

Responsabilidades

• Conduct P&C risk surveys (mainly in industries).
• Assess risks related to processes, construction, utilities, protection systems, loss estimates.
• Prepare underwriting and risk improvement reports.
• Support accounts and follow up with clients based on survey findings.
• Assist account executives with information gathered during surveys.
• Advise clients on risk management policies and projects.

Description

Risk Engineer based in Barcelona (Spain). Carrying out P&C surveys in Spain (mainly) and abroad. Desirable experience in fire protection (projects, audits, installation…). An amazing opportunity to get to know all kind of industries and get in contact with the insurance sector.

The Role

• P&C risk surveys (mainly in industries)
• Risk assessment regarding processes, construction, utilities, protection systems, loss estimates
• Issue of reports for underwriting (insurance markets) and risk improvement reports (clients)
• Help and follow-up in assigned accounts
• Support account executives based on information gathered in risk surveys and provided by clients
• Help and advise clients in relation with their risk management policies, projects

Qualifications

The Requirements

• Engineer (BSc/MSc)
• Master's / Postgraduate Courses related to functions will be valued
• English and Spanish required. Additional languages will be valued
• Availability to travel in Spain (mainly) and abroad
• Experience in the insurance sector (risk engineer, appraiser) and/or as fire protection engineer (projects, audits, knowledge of standards) will be valued
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Immediate availability
