Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Design or Industrial Technologies.
• Knowledge of additive manufacturing technologies, preferably WAAM.
• Proficiency in CAD, CAM and modelling tools.
• Languages: English (B2) and a second EU language (A2) will be an advantage.
• Publications in scientific journals and conferences are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support in the development of WAAM strategies for metal components (stainless steel and titanium).
• Carry out tests to characterise materials and monitor residual stresses.
• Collaborate on process optimisation to maximise material and energy efficiency.
• Participate in the design of industrial prototypes and a demonstrator catalogue.
