Biobizkaia Health Research Institute in Spain seeks a Research trainee to join the Nucleic Acid Therapies for Rare Diseases group on the FAPMETRICS project. You will plan and perform tissue-culture and molecular-biology experiments, manage iPSC cultures, and analyze data for reports, conferences, and publications.

The role requires a biology/biochemistry background, a master's degree, and English at C1 level. Immediate starting date; 100% working hours; base salary around €21,328 gross per year.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Biology, Biochemistry or a related science.
• Master's degree in Biochemistry or a related science.
• Certified knowledge of English level C1.
• Experience in cell culture, including iPSCs.
• Experience using nucleic acid therapies (ASOs, siRNA, gene editing).
• Must not hold a PhD.
• Verifiable academic record with a score above 8.0/10.

Aufgaben

• Plan and perform tissue-culture and molecular-biology experiments.
• Maintain, passage, freeze, and monitor cell cultures.
• Record, analyze, and interpret experimental data.
• Present results in lab meetings, reports, conferences, and publications.
• Follow laboratory safety, quality-control, documentation, and equipment-maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate on the analysis and dissemination of research data.
