Job summary

REDEN is seeking an Investment Associate - Financial Analysis to drive complex financial modeling for renewable energy projects across Europe. Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in project finance, infrastructure finance, corporate finance, or transaction modeling.
• Experience in a top-tier advisory or investment environment (Big 4, investment bank, boutique advisory) is preferred.
• Proven ability to build complex financial models from scratch (not just templates).
• Renewable energy modeling experience, including solar PV, battery storage, or wind projects.
• Exposure to battery energy storage systems (BESS) is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in English and in the local language of the country.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain complex financial models for renewable energy assets and portfolios (greenfield, brownfield, operational).
• Support live transactions with valuation, scenario analysis, and sensitivity modelling.
• Analyse wholesale power prices, generation volumes, CAPEX/OPEX, and regulatory frameworks.
• Develop debt sizing, return analysis, and capital structure modeling.
• Review and improve external models from advisers, lenders, and JV partners.
• Contribute to standardisation and improvement of internal modeling frameworks.
• Produce clear outputs to support Investment Committee papers and senior decisions.
• Mentor junior team members where appropriate.
• Act as a business partner translating technical analyses into commercial insights.
