Job summary

Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure Plc in Sevilla invites applications for an Environmental & Energy Engineer Intern to join our corporate resources team at the Isla de la Cartuja office. The role focuses on supporting environmental permitting, energy management, ESG initiatives, and cross-functional process improvements.

You'll develop hands-on skills in permitting, data analysis, reporting and audits within a growing renewable energy portfolio and international projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Permitting: Support the management of environmental and energy permits, coordinating communications and documentation with public authorities, including environmental agencies, hydrographic confederations and industry regulators.
• Energy Management & Reporting: Assist with monthly reporting and data analysis related to electricity, natural gas and energy transportation, contributing to monthly closing activities and internal reporting processes.
• Environmental Compliance & Audits: Help prepare documentation and gather information for internal audits, ensuring environmental and energy permits meet applicable requirements.
• Sustainability & ESG: Support initiatives related to ESG requirements and the Equator Principles, gaining exposure to environmental and sustainability standards in the renewable energy industry.
• Cross‑functional Collaboration: Work with different teams to organize information, monitor compliance requirements and support the continuous improvement of internal processes.
