Job summary

GE Vernova’s ROC Technical Lead - Remote Operations Center (Wind) in Barcelona coordinates the safe and efficient operation of offshore wind assets from a central hub. You monitor performance, diagnose issues, and support commissioning and service phases to keep turbines running reliably throughout their lifecycles.

You collaborate with site teams and engineers to analyse data, implement improvements, and communicate findings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with wind turbines or similar electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and apply them in troubleshooting.
• Experience with SCADA and digital monitoring tools.
• Fluent English (spoken and written) and EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Monitor turbine performance and respond to alarms.
• Support commissioning and service activities via remote diagnostics.
• Assist field teams in resolving issues and restoring performance.
• Escalate complex issues with clear technical information.
• Collaborate with engineering/support teams to resolve problems.
• Analyze operational data to identify faults and trends.
• Support reporting and communication of technical findings.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational optimisation.
• Support grid outages when required, prioritising safety.
